A Marathon of Generosity

Old Bill’s Fun Run is held annually in early September. There is a 5K and 10K timed run, an untimed FUN RUN/​walk, and a highly competitive Diaper Derby. Winners of each race receive prize money to donate to their favorite nonprofits.

Mr. Old Bill loves to run, and one day while on a run he got the idea for an annual community-wide fundraising event to benefit all local nonprofits.

Everyone is invited to enjoy Old Bill’s 2023 festivities, learn about local nonprofits, and celebrate philanthropy. 

Old Bill’s is a fundraiser held in Jackson, WY each summer. Run Day typically falls in early September.

Old Bill’s festivities will take place at Jackson Elementary School fields on Willow Street.

Old Bill’s t‑shirts are available during the Giving Season on the Community Foundation front porch and on Run Day (while supplies last).

Runner registration is free. Timed divisions are: Women’s 5K, Men’s 5K, Girls’ 5K (under 14 years old), Boys’ 5K (under 14 years old), Women’s 10K, and Men’s 10K.

The top timed runners will win money to donate to their favorite Old Bill’s participating nonprofits. 

Advance registration is encouraged, however, you may register to walk or run in the untimed Fun Run on Run Day at the registration tent at Jackson Elementary School field.

Timed runners may pick up their bibs at the Community Foundation (245 East Simpson Avenue) the week leading up to Run Day. Bibs will also be available to pick up on Run Day from 8 to 9 a.m. at the Jackson Elementary School fields.

Old Bill’s welcomes dogs that are experienced and comfortable in crowds. Please keep them on a short leash and pick up after them. No other animals are allowed.
